The APA website explains that the full title of the webpage can be used in the inline citation if it is short. However, if it is long, the first few words of the reference list, usually the title, can be used, enclosed in quotation marks (“How do you reference a web page,” 2016). Most often than not, many websites do not have the author name indicated. In this case, the title will be written first in the reference entry.
