2015 ALS A&E Test, Finally Scheduled

The Department of Education announces the new schedule of the Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Test for CY 2015. In the DepEd advisory dated March 2, 2016 signed by DepEd Secretary Armin A. Luistro, the following schedules were given.

AREAS COVERED

Wave 1 – Regions I, II, III, IV-A, IV-B, V, NCR & CAR

The schedule of test for Regular Testing Centers will be on April 17, 2016 while the schedule of test for Extension Centers (Rehabilitation/ Formation Centers and BJMPs) will be on April 16, 2016.

AREAS COVERED

Wave 2 – Regions VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, Caraga and ARMM

The schedule of test for Regular Testing Centers will be on April 24, 2016 while for Extension Centers (Rehabilitation/ Formation Centers and BJMPs) will be on April 23, 2016.

2015 ALS Accreditation and Equivalency Test, Postponed Indefinitely

The Department of Education postponed the conduct of the ALS Accreditation and Equivalency Test to an indefinite date. This was announced by Undersecretary Dina S. Ocampo in the DepEd Advisory dated December 23, 2015. The 2015 ALS A&E Test was originally scheduled this January and on February 2016. The announcement, however, did not mention any reason of the postponement. Ocampo advised that the public will be informed once a final date is reached.

Thousands of test applicants are awaiting the conduct of the ALS Accreditation and Equivalency Test nationwide. In 2014, there were 84,785 passers of ALS A&E test nationwide. Many learners express their disappointments of the postponement however, they are still hopeful that the test will be conducted soon before the end of the second semester.

Please be advised that the 2015 ALS A&E Test scheduled in January and February 2016 is hereby postponed to an indefinite date.

Public shall be informed once new and final date is reached.
